Advanced training of engineers-interpreter for work in Central Asia
From October 28 to November 03, 2019, on the basis of the INTECH-Service LLC enterprise, courses were held to improve the qualifications of engineers-interpreters of geophysical data from the control and interpretation batch of the enterprise.
Seminars were conducted by Vdovkin Alexander Vasilyevich, specially invited from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy General Director of LLP "KazRosGeofizika".
At the courses, approaches to the interpretation of a set of methods for assessing residual oil saturation were analyzed, a number of techniques were presented, interpretation work was carried out on software systems of third-party manufacturers.
The event was timed to coincide with the start of a production program for conducting pilot studies of oil and gas wells using electrical divergence logging in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
As part of the training, discussions were held on the nuances of the work of field and interpretation services in the states of Central Asia, the features of the local geophysical market and work in the conditions of these countries were discussed.
Vdovkin Alexander Vasilyevich in 1982 graduated from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute (now the Karaganda State Technical University) with a degree in Geophysical Methods of Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits with honors.
From 1984 to 2002 he worked at the Karaganda State Technical University as a junior researcher, then as a researcher, and then as a senior researcher at the research unit (NICH KSTU).
In the same period, in parallel, he was engaged in teaching activities as a senior lecturer of the department "Geophysical methods of exploration", worked as a leading specialist in the editorial and publishing department (RIO KSTU).
Participated in the creation and editing of the journal "Proceedings of the University", has about 60 published scientific articles and abstracts (including in periodicals from far abroad - 3).
In 1992 he completed a full-time postgraduate study at KSTU, specializing in Geophysical Methods of Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits.
Today he is the Deputy General Director of the Association for Geology of the company LLP "KazRosGeofizika", in which he has been working since 2005.
